Bolts end football season 11-1

After a cold start to their day the Bolts heated things up with an impressive first game victory over Collingwood 34-6. They followed that with a nail-biting win over Holly Meadows 23-22. We knew Game 3 would be tough against Hewitts Creek a team that was also 2-0 for the day, but the Bolts game out strong. They showed grit and determination, they listened to each other and dug deep to finish at the top of their pool with a 21-20 victory! The Bolts were heading to the Play-Offs for the first time! With stellar offensive plays and tight defence the Bolts kept the game close. It all came down to the final play of the game… the Bolts needed a touchdown, to tie up things up… but it wasn’t to be. They lost their first and only game of the season to Minesing 13-19. Way to go Bolts!! Thanks for a great season.
